Today includes part 2 of our previous Mob Arena update! There wasn't enough chaos and madness within the arena before. Mobs now have their own support troops that appear during the fight. Let's introduce you... The Necromancer The Necromancer can start appearing after Wave 7 in place of a normal skeleton. Necromancers walk around the arena and revive monsters that have died nearby them, keeping the swarm going. It's imperative that you prioritize killing these units, or you're not going to advance anywhere quickly. This monster can be found in both Survival and the new Adventure modes. The Mob Guardian The Mob Guardian can start appearing after Wave 10 in place of a normal Zombie. Mob Guardians deploy a shield that covers 7 blocks around them and gives monsters IMMUNITY while within the field. To kill the monsters, you must either knock them outside the field or kill the Mob Guardian. This monster can be found in both Survival and the new Adventure modes. As mentioned above, Adventure Mode also launches in the arenas today. What's different about adventure mode, you may ask? You don't use your own gear. Your inventory is sent to your island dropzone upon entry. You'll use our provided gear and abilities instead. Two classes. Select between knight or archer. You can swap classes between each wave. Spend score to upgrade weapons and abilities. Unlock healing potions, lightning storms, machine gun bows, and much more by spending score at the Arena Merchant. Increased token return. Receive more tokens from the score you earn. Remember: The score you spend for items is also the score that determines the tokens you'll receive from the match. Powerups. Monsters can drop powerups, giving you or your team temporary buffs. Primary Weapon Primary weapon upgrades increase the damage and quality of your weapon. Armor Upgrades Increases the quality of the armor you wear into the arena, shielding you from more passive damage. HP Upgrades Increases your maximum HP from the base 10 hearts. Health Potion You have an unlimited amount of Health Potions. Upgrading this will increase how many hearts are restored when used, as well as lowers the cooldown between uses. Drinking the Heal Potion is instant, and just requires a single right click. Knight Knight's primary weapon is a Sword. Along with the sword, the knight also gets 3 abilities that can be triggered in each wave: Inferno Sword - All mobs you attack are lit on fire. Higher levels increase your damage. Lightning Strike - Strikes all surrounding monsters with lighting. Higher levels will cause SLOW. Armor Up - Mitigates incoming damage by temporarily increasing your defenses. Higher levels guard for more damage. Archer Archer's primary weapon is a Bow with infinite arrows. Along with the bow, the archer also gets 3 abilities that can be triggered in each wave: Arrow Storm - Your bow becomes a machine gun, and you fire 4 arrows per second for the duration of the effect. Higher levels last longer. Fireball - All arrows you fire become Fireballs that deal massive AOE damage, fantastic for crowd control. Healing Totem - Spawns a golem that heals all nearby players every few seconds. Higher levels heal more often and have a larger range. The arena merchant can be accessed between waves. If you change kits, you will also retain all the upgrades of the other kit. Food Food can be purchased on a per-wave basis. Make sure to only buy what you need, because left over food is lost when a wave is completed. Steak can be bought for 3 Points while Golden Apples can be bought for 10 Points. Powerups Power Ups have a chance to drop whenever a monster is killed. These are the types you can expect to find: Speed Lvl 1 - 3 - Temporarily gives you a boost of speed. Regen Lvl 1 - 3 - Grants passive health regen to compliment your own healing methods. Slow Mobs 1 - 3 - Slows every spawned monster in the arena. Double Points - Doubles all points from pickups you get for the next 10 seconds. Nuke - Obliterates all spawned mobs. Powerups appear as floating items with a hologram above them. Simply run into them to pick them up and activate them. For more details on the mob arena, check out our original update post. WEEKEND IMMORTAL KIT SALE!
