Hello, all!

Sorry for the late post, meant to finish this up last night but wanted to get some last details before going forward.

This post will be giving you some general info on what happens when you import your island to release. For obvious reasons, not everything comes with you (that'd be super OP!), so this will ease some other questions we've been getting!

Q: Who can import islands?
A:
Anybody with Savage rank will have the ability to import their island. If you do not have Savage Rank, you can purchase it after release, and you will then have the option to perform the import.

Q: What transfers with an imported island?
A:
Almost everything. Below are the list of blocks/materials that will not come with your imported island:
  • Player Heads
  • Chests
  • Furnaces
  • Dispensers
  • Droppers
  • Hoppers
  • Hopper Minecarts
  • Storage Minecarts
  • Shopkeepers
  • Parkour Pads
  • Ore Seeds
  • Ores (Will convert to stone)
  • Ore Blocks (Diamond Block, Emerald blocks, etc, will convert to stone)
  • Animals
  • Monsters
  • Spawners
  • Ground items
  • Dropzone chests
  • Item Frames
  • Armor Stands
We'll update this last as necessary. All of these things will stay on your island on the beta islands, even if you import. It's simply a list of what won't follow you.

Q: Where will imported islands go?
A:
Imported islands will use your island slot like making an island normally would. When you make a new island on the new islands (while savage and while you have an importable island), you will be asked if you'd like to import your old island as opposed to making a fresh one. The blocks that won't come with you will be shown in-game as well.

Q: When can I do this?
A:
Island importing will be available to all until the end of July, 2017. After which, your islands will only be usable on the beta version. You can also only import your island once....

We're hard at work getting the server ready to exit beta next Friday, June 16th. We're very excited to make the transition and finally "rebalance" the server. We hope you're all excited as well!

We are holding off content updates for this week for next Friday, to allow us to focus on making sure this transition goes as smoothly as possible.

Don't know what I'm talking about?
Here's what to expect as we enter next week:

Monday, June 12th
  • We will be announcing the details of what blocks are not brought with you on an island import. We are still working out the logistics of this, so I don't want to hint at anything here just yet.

Thursday, June 15th
  • Savage Games will go offline Thursday afternoon. This will allow us to make changes to the servers and worlds as necessary without impacting gameplay.
  • All current worlds will be dubbed "The Beta Islands", and will remain playable via an NPC in the spawns of the new servers. Nothing will be lost.
  • The shop will be going offline as we specify the details of kits and ikits in the new islands. The contents of these kits will not change in the beta islands.
Friday, June 16th
  • Savage Games will come back online, out of beta.
  • There will be a beta version of every current island, with all your stuff as you left it.
  • There will be two new islands: Steampunk & Dinosaurs (No beta versions of these, of course.)
  • There will be an updated warzone on the new version of all...

Due to issues with our host starting at 5 AM this morning, our Skybounds servers lost their connectivity to our primary database.

This caused worlds to be unable to start up following their automatic reboot.

This has since been resolved, we're sorry about the downtime! We'll be speaking with our host to ensure it doesn't happen again in the future.

We're now running a 15% off flash sale for 24 hours over on our shop to help compensate for the downtime. Once again, we're sorry!
