. Friday has officially landed upon us once more this month and I am happy to introduce to you some cool new features that have been brought to the server. This new update includes changes in the way Boss Eggs can be obtained, the transferring of kits across worlds, a brand new Immortal Shard and much more. Lots of interesting changes this week, so lets dive right in! Originally Boss eggs were introduced to the server by only being obtainable through the donation store. However, the Savage Games team wanted you to experience this great server feature to its full potential and thus, Uncharged Boss Eggs can now be found in game! Now, keep in mind that uncharged boss eggs do require more attention and dedication, but the hard work put into fully charging the egg makes it completely worth the efforts. When you've found an Uncharged Boss Egg, you must bring the egg to a Boss Alter to be charged. Boss Alters can are located in each islands Market and can only hold one uncharged boss egg at a time. Once your egg is placed inside of the Boss Alter, the alter will activate and the requirements needed to fully charge your egg will appear before you. Along with the requirements being listed, your name will appear over top the egg to notify users of who owns the boss egg and who they are assisting with charging the egg. Charging a boss egg demands that three requirements be met in order to fulfill your task. Each boss egg is different and may also require different forms of energy as payment. For example, the Arcane Golem seen above requires that you sacrifice 1500 enchantment levels, 10000 arcane power and 300 item levels. Once all of these demands are met, your boss egg will become fully charged and ready for summoning. Keep in mind that any players online at the time you are, may help assist you with charging your boss egg through donating their items to the alter. Once any eggs are fully charged, it will return to the original owner and those that helped to charge the egg will not be rewarded for their generosity. Please be cautious before throwing your items to the alter, for they will not be refunded and you are not guaranteed anything in exchange. Custom name fragment books are newly available in the donation shop for purchase! I large sum of users have requested a way to make name fragments of your own, well here you go! Purchase a custom fragment book, or maybe two and get creative with all of the new ways in which you can customize your gear. Adding custom names to your gear cant get easier. Upon purchasing your custom fragment book, simply right click the book while on your island to access the renaming menu. Type in your desired word to apply to your fragment and then select the slip of paper to complete the action. Once you've decided upon a good name or word for your fragment, a confirmation memo will appear in chat. You may either confirm your chosen name, change your name or cancel the transaction completely to start again. In order to apply the custom name fragment, you would visit the anvil location in the market. You will then click the anvil with your custom name fragment and proceed to apply the fragment as you normally would. Spaces are allowed on your custom name fragments, along with some given symbols, however color codes will not function properly. You can also only have a maximum of 16 characters per name fragment. All inappropriate names applied to fragments will be censored as needed. Each custom name fragment is labeled with the creators in game username, so those of you found abusing this feature will be properly punished as we feel needed. Kit Tokens are now available in order for users to transfer their permanently unlocked kits over to a new world. If you've ever wanted to move across worlds, but were hesitant to do so because you'd leave your precious kits behind, well now you can take them with you! Keep in mind that much like other functionality of the server, once you've confirmed the transferring of you kit, you will not be able to undo this. Once you've obtained your kit token, you will then be able to right click and access the kit transferring menu. This menu will bring up all of your available kits for transfer, labeling them with different blocks depending on the kit type. Scrolling over each individual kit will explain to you how transferring works and what to do in order to proceed with the transfer. When you've decided what kit you'd like to transfer, you will left click the block associated with the kit and wait to be further prompt... Confirm the action as shown above by left clicking again. Once you've successfully accepted the confirmation memo, your kit will be locked on its original server location and packed away for shipment to the new world. An in game chat message will appear if the transfer was successful, as seen below. Please keep in mind that you may only transfer one kit per kit token. The next step to transferring your kit involves you traveling to the world in which you wish to obtain your newly acquired kit. Visit your island on the world you wish to transfer your kit to and type in the command /kit or /ikit. Upon doing so, a new menu will appear displaying the packed kit and explaining how to further complete your transaction. When the decision has been made and you've fully decided what server to claim your kit on, simply left click the kit in question and it will be permanently unlocked! More information regarding the kit can be found here: Savage Games | Welcome A new name fragment buff has entered the Savage Games community this week. Originally members of the servers could, at max, apply three name fragments to any given item. With this new change, Savage ranked players will now be able to apply a total of five name fragments to their gear. In order to do so, you will need to grab your desired name fragments, your item in which you wish to rename and head over to an anvil in the market. Once there, right click the anvil as you always did with one of the name fragments to enter the renaming menu. In the bottom middle of the menu there is a name tag that you can click to adjust the amount of fragments you are able to use. Pocket chests are the new and improved way to transport items in game. For those of you who may have felt as though you needed more inventory space, but didn't want to leave any gear behind, these are perfect for you! The Pocket Chests come in three different sizes: small, medium and large. The smallest chest of the bunch provides you with an added 9 slots of potential inventory space. The medium offering 18 slots and the largest available chest at this time offering you 27 slots. Using the Pocket chests are simple and easy to use. Once you've obtained your very own Pocket Chest, simply visit a non pvp zone, right click your Pocket Chest and place your desired loot inside that you wish to store. Pocket chests can not be used in pvp related regions and can currently only be obtained within Immortal Kits. Pocket chests conveniently display the contents of the chest upon hovering over it in your inventory. Each chest will display up to the first 9 items that you've placed inside. Pocket chests are not bound and thus if you drop your chest, or die carrying it into the warzone, the next individual to stumble upon it will acquire access to your belongings inside. So be careful where you decide to take these chests, for you never know who may pickpocket you when you aren't looking! Corrupted kits will be entering the Skybounds universe in the coming weeks. These kits are uniquely designed, extremely powerful and only the strongest warriors will be able to wield their true power. We, at Savage Games, have no doubt you all will be very interested in getting your hands on them! In order to fully access the contents of your corrupted kits, you will need to first find keys around the server that will grant you access. More information will be given as these corrupted kits are studied and the ways in which they function are discovered. Keep your eyes open and your wits about you! ...more info coming soon. This month is going to be a little different then our typical build events. The theme for this month is Schematics. How this will work, is you will be provided with a list of categories below to choose from pertaining to schematics we would like to see on the server. You may only choose up to 6 categories to build, but may make as many schematics per category as you'd like. However, all categories must be presented in different entries. Up to only 6 entries per person. Please keep in mind that these are going to be schematics. That being said quality over quantity is a must! Please make sure that builds are individually made, detached from other objects on your island and easy to copy / save if chosen as winners. Those that win at the end of the month will not only obtain their prizes listed below, but also have their schematics featured on Skybounds officially!
