It's officially April, and with the fooling left in the past, we can now get back to our normal update schedules! These past two weeks have been busy for the Savage Team, and thus we plan to take it easy for a little while! Don't worry though, for we will still be providing top quality updates that all of you will enjoy. This week we are introducing a brand new Combat World Zone, with some other additional features. The Slayer Quest will be seeing a change this week with a Tier 3 armor set update! The bunny shard is leaving the shop soon, but the Eternal rank is forever! For those of you who may not know what our Monthly Crates are all about, I'll be happy to explain! Our Monthly crates are loot crates that can be purchased once a month by users in the community. These crates are limited to their specific month of release, and the exclusive loot inside can only be obtained that month! Every month is guaranteed to have something new and exclusive for you to find! This month we are offering you a brand new player trail called Spring Time. Plant flowers as you walk across the lands of Skybounds, but wait, what's that --- An Egg? You may find yourself stumbling across random egg drops that are poking around in your newly grown garden trails!



Each Monthly crate contains up to 14 items upon opening. How many items you obtain, is determined by your in game rank. The Eternal rank was released last week with a BOOM in sales! Looks to be a top seller for everyone this month! For those of you who wish to support the server, or just want more benefits in game, feel free to grab yourself the new Eternal Rank! You can gain access to tons of exclusive perks in game from Flight in spawn, to clearing your entire dropzone with the swift of one easy command! There's a lot to love about this new rank and we know that there are plenty of you who are eager to get your hands on it! The trail for the Eternal Rank is finally available to those who have purchased the rank, and you can find this trail within your /trail menu on any Skybounds server!









As the weeks fly by for SkyBounds we are constantly looking at ways to not only bring new content but make sure old content is in the right mindset too. Something that has been on our scope for a while now are the Frost Walker sets. However, hear us out before waving your finger and yelling at us for destroying SkyBounds by changing this set bonus! There are still 3 levels to the Frost Walker set bonus, but the bonuses for each level have changed. Instead of effecting all nearby players with never ending slowness aura, which in effect trapped them, the set bonus is now an active bonus rather than a passive. What this means is that players you attack will have the effects applied to them rather than the aura that it previously was. But we aren’t done yet; Attacks will now remove all speed/swiftness potion effects from the opposing player with a short cool down listed below, and there is a chance that you will apply slowness 2 for 5 seconds. Along with these the level 3 has a bonus to it described below.

  • Chance to apply Slowness​
• Level 2​
  • 15 Second cool down on Swift Removal​
  • Increased Chance to apply Slowness​
• Level 3​
  • 10 Second cool down on Swift Removal​
  • Superior Chance to apply Slowness​
  • Killing a player will result in dropping a Frosted Skull*​
  • Sneak to Freeze nearby players.​

These changes were made to keep the Frost Walker set as a VERY GOOD set bonus but remove the aura effect which EVERYONE hated. It will still have the snow cosmetic while wearing it.

* - Frosted Skull described below.​

The Frosted Skull, a brand spankin new item, only to be dropped from wearing the Frost Walker III set bonus and killing a player.



This pure spectacle of an item has an interesting twist to it, you must defrost this item in a furnace to open it! Upon doing so you will receive a possibility of 5 items; Transforming Skull, Necro Spinner, Soul Stone, Arcane Shard, or up to 64 Arcane Dust.​

FINALLY "OMG" THEY ADDED IT!!!

Yes… finally there is a Tier 3 Slayer Armor set, and as per the other slayer sets it helps you in the hunt of all the slayer mobs!



Sonny’s Set has the new Attractor set bonus. The Attractor set bonus increases the chance of slayer mobs to spawn in and take revenge on Sonny. Little do they know that they will shortly be met by your blade! For the majority of slayer mobs you just need to stand nearby the spawn ritual for the chances to be increased, but for some of them you need to be the Enactor of the ritual itself!
