The end stretch is here for the month of February, and boy has it gone by fast! Lots of cool now features have been introduced this month, but luckily for you all -- there's more to come! The big update for the month of February has unfortunately been postponed until need week's update, however, do not fear for this update is going to be AWESOME! This week we are bringing you all a brand new Mob for the Slayer quest. This mob is sure to be quite the 'surprise' to those who may not have the very best of eyesight. The Mob Arena has also under gone another revamp this week, including drop changes, Boss alterations, Token Shop remodeling and much more! The Quality Assurance team are officially not only going to be the ones testing for Savage Games starting today. A test server has been made for specific player ranks to join at particular events in order to test new and improved mechanics. This should help us further improve the server by tackling bugs more effectively and efficiently. Other updates this week include our usual bug fixes, followed by a lovely weekend sale. Last week there was no new Slayer mob or update to the Slayer system. However, this week we added a new mob, or should I say a new you. The Ghoul is a dangerous specimen known to appear as a barely visible human after recently being in contact with one. Originating as an undead beast but becoming more once they transform, little is known from these as most people that have fought them don’t live to tell the tale. But from what we have heard the fights seem to never end… The Ghoul requires 2000 Slayer points to fully understand. Last week we saw the first of the 2 part Mob Arena revamp! This week is part 2, and it is all about the mobs and rewards. There is now a plethora of new mobs in the arena and each of them with their own unique attributes. Before it was a simple; if the wave is greater than 10 make everything wear diamond armor. That way of doing it is extremely bad from a gameplay standpoint, so we decided to change it and make it “actually fun”. Zombies Base Zombie; Just your standard ordinary zombie Farmer Zombie; Diamond Hoe and hits a bit harder Pleb Zombie; Wears some leather but knows how to punch Athletic Zombie; Has on some nice kicks and an epic cap to speed it up Guard Zombie; Full Chain and a Stone Sword Knight Zombie; Iron Armor with an Iron Sword Assassin Zombie; Secret little zombie that will strike you with a diamond blade Guardian Zombie; Full Diamond and a Diamond Sword Executor Zombie; Full Enchanted Chain with the Executors Axe Moves slow but Hits Hard King Zombie; Yeah good luck with this one haha Skeletons Base Skeleton; Simple standard Skeleton Training Skeleton; Skeleton with a chainmail cap Squire Skeleton; Iron and Chain with a Bow that is a bit more deadly Legion Skeleton; Iron Armor with a Bow meant to protect the front lines from you Vigilante Skeleton; Hits hard and fast Spiders Base Spider; Your standard spider Enhanced Spider; Moves quicker and hits harder Extraterrestrial Spider; Its speed and toughness are not of this earth Creepers Base Creeper; Just a green thing that likes to get in your personal space and go kaboom Friendly Creeper; Super excited to give you a hug and will rush right to your side Charged Creeper; Basically a nuke in a friendly looking green 4 legged beast Blaze Base Blaze; nothing special they are already a pain in the butt Pig Zombie Base Pig Zombie; The same thing you would find in the nether realm, a zombie pig thing with a gold sword. Demonized Pig Zombie; A speedy Pig Zombie in full Chainmail with a gold sword Special Mobs Necromancer Guardian Along with this we decided to remove survival mode for the time being, it might return at a later date when we can figure out a good balance for it. Along with the complete wave and mob overhaul we also changed the token shop around a wee little bit. Before it was just annoying to play the mob arena, now its actually fun and thus mob arena tokens will be achieved in surplus so the price on the immortal star and storm generators was slightly raised, before you could get an immortal star in about 40 minutes playing the mob arena. And we also added the 3 boss eggs for those that want to really grind up for the bosses and a mob spawner spinner too. Coming in a future QOL, Quality of Life, update we will be adding loot that you can specifically get as a possible drop during the arena from killing certain mobs, I.E. the Executors Axe from killing executors in the arena. Who will be the first to reach wave 25? TESTING, TESTING.. 1 .. 2 ..3! As many of you know, we here at Savage Games have introduced the Quality Assurance team as of roughly 6 months ago. This team of hard working and dedicated users was brought onto the staffing department in order to crack down on game play related bugs and issues. These members of the team are a HUGE help to not only the server, but the community in a whole. That being said, we want to take the initiative to tackle even more, BIGGER and BADDER bugs! We are proud to introduce to you all the official Savage Games Testing Server. This test server will be accessible through the HUB server selection GUI. Not everyone will be able to access this server just as they please, but instead an announcement will be displayed in the Public Discord to those who will qualify for coming and joining us that week. We expect everyone who becomes whitelisted to be on their best behavior and be willing to crack down on issues while helping assist us to make Skybounds an overall enjoyable place to be. Only ranked members at this time will be able to get into this server for testing related concerns, however, other restrictions such as which tier of donor may also apply at times. So do not be shocked if we send out a memo for only Legend + donor ranks, or all donors, etc. Hope to see you all helping out as the days come and getting your hands on some new, exclusive content when inside! When inside the server, the same rules that would apply in the production servers remain. Please be ready to follow directions from the Quality Assurance Head Administrator, Megit, Myself or the Developer Team. We will be instructing you all on what exactly it is you should be doing and when. Anybody who is seen causing issues, abusing Test Server restricted permissions, or overall not doing what was asked of them -- will be completely removed from further entirely the testing server then on. Player's food is now set upon entering the Mob Arena. Points gained from items in Mob Arena now are properly displayed. Wait time between rounds in the Mob Arena was reduced to 30s, from 40s. Spawn rates gradually increase in the Mob Arena now. Player's will no longer see an improper ban message if the user was actually not banned from an Island. King of the Hill Items will now properly be sent to Mailboxes if the user is an event. Carrots and Potatoes now give points in the Mob Arena. Points gained in Mob Arena now properly account for stacked items. Various other optimizations and exploit fixes. Story challenges changed for the Survival Mob Arena to be Adventure.
