A lot of us use the /party system yeah? it's a useful way to make sure you don't accidentally kill any of your mates. But it's annoying having to /party invite them every time they leave. This is an idea to add a whole new mechanic, Alliances, unlike parties, they are permanent, much like factions, minus all the benefits. Alliances don't have to be free, to make one, it could cost 500,000 stars, or even free. to invite a member they must pay 100,000 stars to join. There's no added benefits except: - Alliance Name - Permanent PvE with everyone in the Alliance if you wanted to take it a step further, there could be certain benefits, even accessible by rank. - Possibly a new item, an item of choice, but the function is to teleport to an allied player in combat, a bit OP, that's why it'd be incredibly rare, amongst the immortal shards. - Protect an allies loot! if an allied member combat logs, a notification will be sent out to allied members in a radius, asking if they'd like to attempt to protect their friends loot, if chosen yes, they will be given the coordinates to their combat-logged friend, and about 30 seconds to get their and defend the loot, the system will register if an allied player is in combat in a certain proximity, and will not drop till death. After hearing some opinions of others, I've thought of some new features that could be added, to balance this feature more. - Team PvP & Solo PvP The barricade idea was said to be too complicated to add-in, I agree, it's a bit weird and just thought of at the time, I remembered hearing about how their used to be Solo/Duo fights, I'm unsure on the mechanics of it, so what I suggest may not be 100% like it. If your alliance doesn't have members, you will have immunity to other alliance attacks, that way you can't be 'ganked' if you decide to travel alone, In my head this does sound a bit Over-powered, and I know how some people don't like the idea of immunity in the warzone, so that's why it could be accessed through an Alliance Upgrade, costing possibly 1mil to function, if it is not purchased, you will not be protected against other alliances when alone. So that's Solo PvP covered, what about Team PvP? well, very similar to solo, you cannot kill solos, and may only attack 2+ alliances, if you do happen to have multiple members, but you're the only one online, you will get a notification in chat, telling you that your team and solo protection are disabled, you can be attacked by solos AND teamed players. Best to get a clan with different timezones! That covers PvP, some more added features to add more fun to the feature are: - Leaderboards - Clan Balance If some of your members are feeling nice, they can invest some stars into the alliance, being able to unlock more features, and the balance may be shared amongst members, with a customise-able budget. Along with Alliance Currency, comes leaderboards, who can become the wealthiest alliance? this will not add up player balances together, if you want to be on this leaderboard, you must invest!
